Enya engines data

The Enya engine range which predated the current Super Sport series, whilst not the most powerful engines available, had a reputation as long lasting sport engines which were cheap and very reliable. There are many of these engines available at swapmeets and auctions all over the country. A large proportion of these will not have the original leaflet containing data on recommended prop sizes etc.

The data provided in the table below has been taken from several original Enya leaflets and is provided as a guide for prop size etc.

Sheet balsa weight table

The table below gives the weight of different sized sheets of balsa for different densities. The grade of balsa is given above the density.

The figures in the body of the table give the weight of the sheet in grams.
